Where did we go? The Swan at Lamport 

Who came? Cathi, Jean, Kathy and Lorraine.

What was it like? We started outside, some of us drawing from our cars and some from the pub garden. The weather was so dramatic and changeable – we saw rain, cloud, mist, rainbows, clear blue sky, pink and purple clouds and wonderful sunset in about half an hour. When we went in the staff at The Swan were so we,coming and we were able to draw views from the window  until it went dark. Luke, one of the staff even posed for us for ten minutes and we had a go at portraiture! 

This was our 26th weekly drawing session – exactly half the year! We’re not going to meet every week from now on but watch the blog, Facebook page and Twitter to find drawing evenings in pubs and DrawingOutside at weekends once a month starting on October 31st.
